Apex Horns is a London based horn section made up primarily of Yasmin Ogilvie (saxophones) and Lily Carassik (trumpet/flugelhorn).

Collectively they have performed and recorded with George Ezra, Camila Cabello, Hot 8 Brass Band, Joy Crookes, Kings Daughters and Brian May (Queen), The Slow Show, The Magic Gang, Oh Wonder, Right Said Fred, Brian McFadden, Louisa Johnson and Ministry of Sound to name a few.

 

Apex write, arrange, improvise, perform and record in a plethora of styles and genres. They have toured worldwide with bands, artists and DJs performing at renowned venues and events including the London O2 and Wembley Arenas, Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury (Pyramid Stage), Montreux Jazz Festival and The BRIT Awards.

 

Recording at some of the country’s leading studios as well as remotely from their homes, Lily and Yasmin work as a duo as well as collaborating with guest horn players.
